摘要：

In this paper, the author first introduces the American poet Emily Dickinson and her place in the poetry world as well as some characteristics of her poems;then the author focuses on one of the characteristics-nature imagery-with three of Dickinson’s poems as the case study;and finally the author concludes Dickinson’s technique of using nature images and states the influence of Dickinson’s poetry.
