I. The development and application situation of bio-diesel In the 1980’s - 1990’s in China, some relevant research institutes were engaged in the research on bio-diesel. For example, Agricultural Research Institute of Sichuan province have organized or taken part in the researches of bio-diesel, by cooperating with Petrol China (Sichuan) and Chengdu Oil and Chemistry Plant successively.
