The tanning process using REs andchrome is based on partial substitutionof REs For red vitriol.Experimental re-sults showed that the consumption of redvitriol reduced by 1/3 and chrome con-tent in the waste liquid decreased by80-90%,as compared with the traditionalprocess.In leather dyeing,the additionof REs increases the effect of collagenfibre on the absorption combination pro-
