摘要
Multiple Intelligences Theory was proposed by Howard Gardner in 1983. In the MI theory, Gardner put forward eight intelligences to account for human potential in children and adults. This paper aims to make an in-depth analysis of MI theory by discussing previous studies, its current situation, and then discuss its implications in foreign language teaching. The study shows that MIT has its advantages and drawbacks. This study has implications in the field of FLT which may offer some inspiring insights in educational reforms.
