American and Australian professor Craig Roberts joined the School of Physics at Nanjing University in September 2019.Professor Roberts received a doctorate in theoretical physics from Flinders University of South Australia in 1988.From 2001to 2017,he was the leader of the Theory Group in the Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory.He was both the youngest and longest serving person to hold this position.
