After working for NIH for more than 16 years as microorganism genetics expert,in late 2011, Alexander Strunnikov joined the CAS Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health (GIBH) and embarked on cancer research that had enticed him for quite a few years. As he mentioned, the successful application of the RPFE grant has played a key role, and that he needed only minor lifestyle adjustments to facilitate his work in Guangzhou.P
