Literary Translation from the Perspective of Feminism——A Case Study of Li Meihua's Translation of Gone with the Wind

Gone with the Wind is world renowned as an immortal epic with over twenties translated versions.They embrace different styles and features, among which Fu donghua’s(male) is the earliest and highly promoted, while Li meihua’s(female)is also excellent, but her version is overshadowed by Fu’s and fails to get much focus as it deserves.This novel is a demonstration of a process that women are seeking independence and liberty during the civil war period.So, this paper aims at analyzing the subjectivity and unique translation features based on feminist perspective.
