摘要：
This paper reviews the development of manufacturing technology and the progress that has so far been made in this field. It points out that manufacturing technology is not only the pillar of material civilization and the base of spiritual civilization of man, but also the foundation of a country’s competitiveness. The paper also attempts to review the future of manufacturing technology through the description of the new pattern of manufacturing market, new features of manufactured products, new characteristics of technologies as well as the emerging trends of manufacturing enterprises and management in the 21st century.
