Does the consumption of green tea,widely touted to have beneficial effects on health,also protect brain cells? As reported in the 15 December, 2007 issue of Biological Psychiatry, studies by CAS researchers indicate this may be the case. A research team led by Prof.ZHAO Baolu from the State Key Laboratory of Brain & Cognitive Science affiliated to the CAS Institute of Biophysics investigated the effects of green tea polyphenols,a group of naturally
