摘要：

Communicative Language Teaching is considered as an efficient approach to second language acquisition. This article tries to give a general introduction to CLT and its current situation in English teaching in China by pointing out the difficulties CLT faces in China as well as giving some suggestions for the perfection of CLT in Chinese language teaching context.
