Liver Surface Area Estimation by X-Ray.Chang Fa-ch’u,Yuan Hsin-chao,Li Shu-ch’in,Sheng Kung-yu and Wu Wang-fen.ZhongYixue Z 47（1）:40,1961.A new roentgen method for the meas-urement of the size of liver is introduced.The material used in this study comprised120 normal adults（99 males and 21 females）.The surface area of the right side of theliver on the film is calculated on the basisof height and body weight.The formula isas follows:Right liver surface area （cm）=1/100[71.84 body weight （kg）×height（cm）].
