Getting Rich through Mobile Phones

For a short period of time in the 1990s the mobile phone was regarded as a symbol of wealth and power in China. But nowadays, the number of mobile phone users is exploding in China. Even farmers today are beginning to use the modern telecommunication tool. In Wangjiangjing, a rural textile powerbase in Jiaxing which is a major city in northern Zhejiang, there are so many farmers using mobile phones that the five villages under the township have been named Villages of Mobile Phones by the local Xiuzhou District government.
