At the beginning diagnosis of the nodule of the bulbar conjunctiva presented some difficulty due to negative findings of other tubercular focus in the body, but the course of disease and X-ray findings of fbrosis and calcification of hila made diagnosis of tuberculosis of the bulbar conjunctiva quite certain. This diagnosis was confirmed by histo-pathologic examination. According to the present knowledge, the tuberculosis of the bulbar conjunctiva in our case has to be regarded as metastatic tuberculosis i. e. secondary and endogene in origin. A conservative treatment-X-ray and Radium radiation should be tried first, but, if a deep ulceration of the tissue has already taken place, excision of the nodule with conjunctiva flap is advisable. If there is no contraindication for tuberculin treatment, the latter may be tried.
