Let f(z) be an entire function of lower order μ. Suppose q denotes the number of its Julia directions, l the number of its different finite asymptotic values, p the number of its finite deficient values and l′the number of its finite deficient values which at the meantime are also asymptotic values. In this paper, the following result is established: If q<+∞, then p-l′+l≤2μ.
