While the world remains committed to upholding the principle of human rights protection, this universal sacrosanct value of humanity has been endlessly put to severe tests in the prevailing global governance.The incoherent global response to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 was merely the proverbial last straw that broke the camel’s back.
