Distinguished Chairman Ladies and Gentlemen: It is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to express my oppinions about the fraining course sponsored by UNESCO/PGI and British Council. Ⅰ am an associate professor of the Division of Information science and Technology and this training course in ISTIC. I have been teaching the course of module 10-Research methods for information science since 1985. Before this, I taught some other courses, such as information retrieval and intrcduction to information science etc. for the postgraduate students in ISTIC and as an advisor to steer their dissertations.
