摘要：

Chomsky’s Transformational-Generative(TG) grammar is another revolution to linguistics after Saussure’s structuralism,and it plays an important role in the modern linguistics.Introducing the research perspective and method of TG grammar,this paper analyses its implications for the foreign language teaching.
