Launched in 2002, the Human Rights magazine operates under the auspices of the China Society for Human Rights Studies, a non-governmental organization in SPECIAL consultative status with the Economic and Social CounciloftheUnitedNations.Themagazine isthe firstofits kind everpublished in China.
