China and Korea are the closest countries in geography and politics. These countries have had the cultural exchanges for a long time, however, have been discontinued by the period of the Cold War. Then, Korea and China have established diplomatic relations in 1992 by the open policy of China. At that time, the trade volume between two countries was only 6.4 billion US dollars. In 2003 after 10 years from then, the trade volume has been increased by 9 times to be 67 billion US dollars while the export amount of Korea to China showed an increase of 13.2 times with 35.7 billion US dollars. China that holds 15.2% of the Korean trading status removes the U.S. to be the largest export market for Korea.
