摘要：
This paper evaluates the reliability and validity of a test for four lessons in the book Contemporary College English. The purposeof the paper is to test the proficiency of college teaching in English major by the methods in language testing. Through testing, I illustrate therelationship between English teaching and testing to explore the problems and possible solutions to overcome them.
