We have examined how the self-similarity influences the occurrences and the nature of singu-larities in self-similar cosmologies. There exist at least three kinds of singularities: (i) the densitydivergence due to the self-similarity conformal factor in every surface of group transitivity, (ii) "bigbang" and (iii) "whimper" singularities which occur in some group-type models. The correspondingPenrose diagrams are given. The Boyer-Ehlers analysis on the Killing geodesic has been generalizedto the self-similar case.
