IntroductionThe purpose of this paper is to analyse the differences in the spoken English betweena native speaker of English(NS)and a non-native speaker of English(NNS),to account forthe reasons of the differences and to show some features in NS’s spoken English that causedifficulties in listening comprehension for the learners of English as a second language.
