The Department of Geography,Northeast Normal University

The Department of Geography was set up in 1949 with Professor Xiao Ronghuan as the head of the department.It has developed into a department of 97 faculties--10 professors,17 associate professors,26 lecturers,14 assistants,3 senior engineers,and 8 engineers.There are over 349 undergraduates,85graduates,5 doctoral candidates,and 398 correspondence students.There are also students in the advanced courses,such as Economic Geography of the World,Economic Geography of China,and Physical Geography.
