摘要：

The cytoprotective effect of PGEon pancreatic islet B cells both in vivo and in vitro was studied. The results indicated that PGEpossesses significant protective effect on B cells. The increase of cAMP level, the prevention of Caaccumulation, and the stimulation of DNA synthesis might be involved in the mechanisms of the protective effect of PGE.
