Semi-empirical schemes for the x-ray mass absorption coefficients used in XRF analysis

摘要
X-ray mass absorption coefficients play an important role in the accu racy of any XRF intensity calculation. It is necessary to determine the proper schemes for providing satisfying values μ/ρ. In this work we examined and compared various schemes. A program based on the existing schemes to provide more accurate and convenient μ/ρ values was then introduced. The results from the program appears to be tolerable.
