摘要：

The unit of translation(UT thereafter) is a significant and controversial issue in the study of translation theories and practice.It is generally acknowledged that the UT is dynamic rather than static,and translator’s cognitive role is of great account.This thesis has been devoted to a brief glimpse of the UT from the perspective of cognitive psychology,and proposes the operable translation steps.
