摘要：

In China,EFL learners have increasingly become aware of the prominent role of vocabulary learning in second language acquisition.Vocabulary learning,as the smallest unit in English learning,is the most basic,crucial yet difficult component.This article mainly presents a discussion of English vocabulary acquisition in terms of theories on vocabulary learning strategies,a case study on junior high school learners’ accounts of vocabulary learning,results analysis and pedagogical implications.
