摘要：

Chinese and westerners, due to the different natural environment they are situated in and further due to different backgroundin history, economy, politics and culture, have made for differences in their ways of seeing nature and the relationship between man andnature, which substantially influences how Chinese and western societies proceed. This is a study on the similarities and differences onpeople’s views of nature in the past and the reasons behind the differences.
