Vocational Education in Germany and Its Implication to China

As a key component of China’s educational system,vocational education is playing an increasingly important role in nowadays society. However,due to a number of challenges it encounters,it’s the critical time for us to carry out reform in this field. Germany is a country where vocational education is widely- respected and well- developed. This paper intends to have a close examination of the German model so as to highlight essence in this model,to be specific,its dual system and strong emphasis on improving teaching staff quality,for Chinese reformers to learn from.
