摘要：

Idioms are seen as the result of human being’s intelligence as well as the carrier of a culture, and metaphor in idioms usually help people express their abstract thought and complicated emotion. The essay attempts to study the translation strategies of metaphor translation in idioms to improve people’s ability in language usage.
