Guilin in China and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia form the tourism union. The signing ceremony was held at Putra World Trade Center in Kuala Lumpur on April 2,2005. It is reported that Guilin and Kuala Lumpur form the tourism union to enhance tourism cooperation and exchange between two cities with a view to launching promotion activities through media within the tourism industry and public media in the two cities.
