Professor Wang Qingwen was born in Shandong,China.He received his PhD degree in Mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China.Since 2004,he has worked as a Full Professor and the Chair of the Department of Mathematics,Shanghai University,China.Professor Wang has several visiting professor positions at other institutions including National University of Singapore
