摘要：
The Energy Research Institute of NationalDevelopment and Reform Commission(NDRC) on September 17th released the ChinaEnergy and CO2 Emissions Report for 2050.The negative impact on GDP by imposinga carbon tax would be very limited if consideringChina reduces the role of imports in itseconomic contribution and China shifts investmentfrom some traditional energyprojects to emerging industries, the reportsaid. A carbon tax could even become a positivething to GDP and help ease energy prices.
