Indonesia occupies an important position on the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Over the last 10 years since the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI) was first proposed, China and Indonesia have frequently interacted and cooperated under this framework to create new models of exchange and pool new drivers of growth.
