摘要
JR East Group is working on various energy measures to reduce CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to 2013 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Installing renewable energy is one of the important issues to solve this problem. JR East has been introducing solar power generation as one of its environmental measures. In the case with KEIYO rolling stock depot solar power plant (Keiyo PV Plant), which is installed as the first self-consumption large-scale solar power generation system in JR East, it has been used for 10 years since 2013. Therefore, we report on the power generation results, the generation efficiency and the use of electric power for the past 10 years. In this paper, the authors first introduce about the long-term environmental goal called "Zero Carbon Challenge 2050" in JR East and explain about Keiyo PV Plant and overview of PV systems in Japan and Japanese railway companies in chapter 1 and 2. In chapter 3 and 4, the authors report about analysis of PV power generations and usage of generated electricity by PV plant, and chapter 5 is the summary of the results of this paper.
