The house in Laeso by Per Kirkeby (1938 - 2018) is a work that comes from the material memory of the place itself. The project consists of the configuration of a ceramic architecture made from clay from the island itself, which unites past and present through matter. The work is direct and honest in its use of brick, allowing us a complete material experience. This research work delves into the study of this project in relation to the physical memory of the site, through a direct dialogue with geology. For the development of the text, the basic form of the Erdaufwurf described in the fundamental writings of Gottfried Semper (1851) will be linked, as well as the relationship between matter and memory exposed by Henri Bergson (1896).
