摘要
Telemedicine applications where real-time data transmission happens in case of doctor prescriptions or surgeries; jitter plays a primary role. Technically, jitter means the amount of time it takes for the data packets to travel from the sender to the receiver. Excess jitter may lead to severe unwanted conditions at the cost of patient's health. This study is dedicated to implement a hybrid jitter buffer algorithm in Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls, which have become integral to telemedicine. This paper includes network assessment, integrating two algorithms to create a new hybrid algorithm and packet loss mitigating using Wireshark. By successfully implementing these techniques, the project aims to create an environment where healthcare professionals can offer seamless telemedicine consultations, improving patient care, and strengthening the telehealth industry.
