E-cigarettes are on everyone's lips around the world and are said to significantly reduce the health risks of nicotine consumption according to the tobacco industry. But is the consumption of e-liquids and the like really less risky in the long term than the classic cigarette? And what effects do e-cigarette aerosols have on cytotoxicity and inflammatory processes? Allbright et al. have investigated these questions and have presented a review on the subject.
