摘要
This research examines the influence of pedagogical and technological trends on teaching and learning, focusing on improving educational practices in critical courses such as Foundations of Computer Programming for massive groups of students. Its goal was to develop and evaluate a didactic methodology centered on computer-assisted, problem-based, and collaborative learning for massive groups of students. Pedagogical strategies were implemented in 35 groups of 35 students each, employing problem-based and collaborative learning to foster active participation and optimize feedback processes. The results demonstrated a significant increase in student engagement and active participation, improved understanding of programming concepts, and more efficient time and resource management. In conclusion, the applied didactic methodology proved effective, modernizing traditional teaching strategies, promoting self-directed and collaborative learning, and enhancing academic performance in settings with large groups of students. Moreover, it encouraged critical skills development, student commitment, proactivity, and teamwork.
