Can stakeholders' digital attention improve enterprise digital innovation?

摘要：
Using a sample of China's A-share listed enterprises from 2010 to 2023, we empirically analyse the impact of stakeholders' digital attention on enterprise digital innovation. The results show that the stakeholders' digital attention promotes enterprise digital innovation. Mechanism tests indicate that the stakeholders' digital attention promotes enterprise digital innovation by promoting the enterprise digital transformation and prompting enterprises to increase R&D investment. Furthermore, the positive impact of stakeholders' digital attention on enterprise digital innovation is more obvious in high-tech enterprises and enterprises with digital background executives.
