摘要
The cervical spine part of the dummies used in impact tests does not incorporate a fully anthropomorphic design that reproduces the neck response to an impact in an omnidirectional manner. In this work, an anthropomorphic neck is presented consisting of 7 cervical vertebrae, intervertebral discs, and springs that simulate the functioning of the muscles and ligaments, with the purpose of being implemented as a neck dummy in vehicular impacts. The experiment results show the acceleration of each vertebra in 3 planes and the angular speed experienced by the vertebra during and after an impact.
