摘要：
This paper discusses the motivation behind, design of, and validation of a new test section for UCF's High-Pressure Shock Tube for Advanced Research (HiPER-STAR). The new test section allows for both pressure transducers and windows to be put in place of the endwall, enabling comparison of endwall and sidewall pressure measurements or endwall imaging during experiments up to at high pressures.
