Psychological Consequences of Placenta accreta Spectrum Disorders

The Incidence of Complications in the Placenta accreta Spectrum (PAS) has increased in recent Decades. These Placental Abnormalities endanger the Health and Life of Mother and Child. This raises the Question of whether Mothers who have been diagnosed with PAS have an increased Risk of developing post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
