摘要
Chemical nanoparticles (NP's) synthesis has become a hurdle to the material science due to their environmental hazards. In this regards an attempt is made by conducting the experiment on biogenic synthesis of copper nanoparticles (CuNP's) using Curcuma caesia Roxb. leaves. The green synthesis method was adopted for successful formation of CuNP's. The synthesized CuNP's were characterized using UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FESEM, XRD, FT-IR, and PL spectroscopy. The synthesized CuNP's exhibited an absorption peak at 567 nm (UV-Visible Spectrophotometer). The XRD spectroscopy showed a crystalline nature having characteristic peaks values of 9.12 degrees, 21.96 degrees, 31.76 degrees and 44.60 degrees. FESEM data provide the shape and size of CuNP's and found to be in the size ranging from of 71.26-330.49 nm. FT-IR analysis verified the presence of phytochemicals and functional groups ranging between 633 cm- 1 to 3288 cm- 1. The PL spectrum indicated an absorption peak at 440 nm. These environmentally synthesized CuNP's hold potential applications in agriculture and related sectors as copper is one the microelement required for normal functioning of the plants. Copper nanoparticles (CuNP's) synthesized using environmentally friendly methods from Curcuma caesia Roxb. leaves demonstrated successful formation, verified by UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FESEM, XRD, FT-IR, and PL spectroscopy. With an absorption peak at 567 nm, crystalline nature, and confirmed phytochemical presence, these CuNP's offer promising applications in agriculture and related sectors.
