Core loss analysis of amorphous motor considering the effect of cutting damage

摘要
Amorphous alloy materials (AAM) with high permeability and low iron loss are gradually being applied to high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motors to improve efficiency. Compared with ordinary silicon steel motors, AAM generates stresses during processing and crystallisation occurs at the edges, which will have a greater impact on the loss of the motor. In this paper, we consider the impact of cutting on the performance of amorphous motors, make a number of amorphous experimental samples, and use the self-developed magnetic performance test system to measure the real value of AAM iron loss under the simulated operating conditions of the motor (variable frequency). In addition, this paper quantitatively analyses the depth of the cutting influence, and derives the unit weight loss of two kinds of amorphous materials affected/unaffected by cutting, accordingly corrects the coefficients of the iron loss model under the influence of cutting, and proposes an amorphous iron loss model considering the influence of cutting, and compares the calculated value of the model and the measured value with an error of only 6.96%. This will provide more accurate guidance for the design and application of amorphous motors.
