Objective: To systematically assess the safety and effectiveness of mifepristone at doses of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg in the treatment of uterine fibroids. Conclusions: Mifepristone reduces fibroid volume and improves clinical symptoms, and 5 mg/day of mifepristone for three months may be the optimal clinical regimen.
