摘要
This article discusses the benefits of using slotless induction permanent magnet motors in electric vehicles (EVs). Environmental problems, the greenhouse effect, the energy crisis for the electric transport industry, make it necessary to study new opportunities to develop EV's drives to increase their efficiency. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to pay attention to electric motors, which are used in the production of EVs by the largest industries in the world. This article examines a comparison of electric motors used by major EV's manufacturers, specifically permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) that can be replaced by slotless permanent magnet synchronous motors (SPMSM). In this paper there are investigated the dynamic characteristics of these motors as well as the benefits to the EV's industry using SPMSM.
