摘要
This study was conducted to test the effect of a digital game-based educational program on the mathematical reasoning skills of preschool children. The research was conducted according to the semi-experimental pattern with pre-test-post-test control group; a total of 22 children (60-71 months), including 10 participants in the experimental group and 12 participants in the control group, were included in the study. While the children in the experimental group participated in the digital game-based educational program, no applications were made to the children in the control group. The digital game-based training program consists of activities that develop mathematical reasoning skills, such as measurement, probability, prediction, and cause-effect relationships. Digital game-based activities were developed with Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC and artificial intelligence programs. In the research, measurement tools were applied to the study groups (experiment-control) before and after the application. As a result, it was determined that the mathematical reasoning skills of the children in the experimental group increased significantly compared to the children in the control group. The results show that digital game-based educational applications can be used to improve the mathematical reasoning skills of preschool children.
