摘要：

The founding of the Zurich University Library raised the question of how to organise the contact with researchers, teaching staff, and students when the library staff are no longer part of the institutes. Proximity to academia is essential for teaching information skills. An alternative concept was developed in collaboration with Zurich Central Library. More than 50 liaison librarians have been working in this area since 2022. This report analyses the cooperation and the results achieved as well as the existing challenges.
