摘要
The article is devoted to Buddhism as one of the traditional Russian confessions and an inalienable part of the cultural and historical heritage of the peoples of Russia. Questions are raised about the historical conditions and modern tracks of change in traditional forms of Buddhism in the Russian socio-cultural space. Both the dominant ideological guidelines of Russian Buddhism and the most important shifts caused by the specifics of its reception of classical examples and the processes of adaptation to such current world processes as the mediatization and digitalization of religion, the blurring of confessional boundaries and mixing of religious guidelines, the growth of social and political activity of religious organizations are considered.
